We received our fourth signature via fax yesterday
so we should be getting our check sometime next week (unless they want
to hear from my lawyer!) and we'll probably use that for upgrades or
something. So we are now 100% done with Anderson Homes, and like
I said it is by no fault of their own! But because of the way
things happened it presented us with a far better opportunity. I
think we've got one more form to sign and the ball will be rolling full
speed on the new place. Our new camera will be here today so
we'll get right on taking some pictures and starting over. I
don't think I'll make it over today, but maybe tomorrow or Wednesday.
I also am having a hard time holding back on buying a laptop. I already got approval from my finance officer (Joni) for $1500 which is quite doable, but I just don't like spending money. It is becoming quite inconvenient not having a decent one especially when I have to go to someone else's office and work on their machines. I don't have access to the network at a high enough speed to be worthwhile. If I go to the DataCenter then I can't get on the network there because it doesn't have a built in ethernet card, but even if it did, the hard drive is only 8 GB which means there's no way to get the 14GB backup on there.... not to mention it only has a 600MHz processor....Pathetic! But at the same time..I don't like spending needlessly, I just need to figure out a way for the company to buy me one! Suggestions welcome!
