What a weekend!  So much happened, now I have to put it all into words?  I'll start with South Carolina.
    We went down on Friday and got there early enough to spend some quality time with my family.  It was very relaxing, but Saturday was a different story.  We went to my parent's pastors house to help my father install a new bathroom (we're quite the handy family).  We were met with a house that was, by my standards, unliveable.  It smelled horrible, junk everywhere, dirty everything.  I spent an hour convincing Joni that all clergy don't live like that.  I can see her point, it's hard to imagine a man of god being an absolute slob, but I know they don't all live that way.  In fact, that's the only one I know who does.  But anyway we busted our asses with the demolition all morning.  The house was built in the 40's or 50's and the materials they used were very archaic.  It took about 4 hours to gut the bathroom and prep it for drywall, the biggest pain in the ass was trying to get a 600lb tub out of the house.  We managed to do it, but I don't think we ever would have managed if it were on the second floor.
    Saturday night the festivities began!  We took my brother to the local bowling alley and drank and bowled, and bowled and drank!  There are pictures posted for all to enjoy, but they don't encompas the fun we all had!  When all was said and done, he got drunk but we didn't take him to the point of puking.  Mission Accomplished!
    The other news I have to share is that on her first interview, Jen was "advised" to get a physical, a TB shot, and notify her employer that friday will be her last day!  They reason she could only advise her is because they can not officially offer employment until the application is on file with Wake County Public School Systems at which point it'll be official.  We've already started cleaning out our spare bedroom to make room for her.  So CONGRATULATIONS Jen!
