So my poor RC Car is in the shop again...well not really in the shop, but in pieces on my dining room table.  I switched fuel types on my last trip to the hobby store and I can barely keep it on four wheels.  I was using a Nitro-Methane fuel that was 15% Nitro and 85% Methane, I'm now using a 20/80 Nitro/Methane mix and the difference is huge.  Probably the reason she's sitting in pieces on the kitchen table.  The pinion gear in the rear differential threw a tooth and almost ceased the rear end.  I think I stopped in time not to do any major damage.  The irony of the whole thing is I had the exact same thing happen to my Blazer (God rest her soul) in PA.  Fortunately this repair is going to be slightly cheaper...and a hell of alot easier.  I think I'll be set back around $8.99 this time compared to the $150 last time.  Not to mention I don't have to work on it on the coldest day of a PA winter. 
    Oh, and I forgot to even mention that I snapped the body too!  I rolled the truck over (a few times) and noticed it was running crooked, couldn't quite tell, but I knew it wasn't right.  When I brought it closer to me, I could see the bed flapping in the breeze.  I think I'm going to pick up a roll cage and a wheelie bar for it on my next trip to the hobby store.  But since I need a new body, maybe I'll be able to get a different body style.  We'll see.
