Credit card miles
Well, we've earned another airline ticket, in just a
shade under three months. That means that between Joni and I,
we've spent $15,000 in 90 days. Alot of that is the
wedding, and we completely expected it, but to see the
number...phew. When I was working at RadioShack, I didn't even
make that in a year! I guess part of it is I use my credit card
to purchase stuff for work and they re-imburse me for it. Not a
bad deal, I buy a $1000 piece of software, they pay for it, and I get
the miles!
So anyway, I'm not sure where things stand with Jen, I think she's about burnt out on the job hunt thing. It's really not her fault though, from what I've been reading and hearing, schools are more apt to hire teachers with bachelors only because they can pay them less, but to hire a new teacher with a masters they have to pay them more and are reluctant to do so. This certainly explains why america is becoming so stupid...you get what you pay for. Hire a second rate employee, you'll get second rate quality.
