That was quick
Well, lets just say I got a little ambitious last night...ok really
ambitious! I spent a few hours getting my rss feed working and
have tested the heck out of it and so far it works! I'll now for
sure once this is posted...I should get a message saying it has been
updated, I only check my sites once an hour automatically, but I'll
force an update just to make sure! I also played with the XML
button and I like what I've done! At first I was going to make it
the same as the Search and Next/Previous buttons, but I wanted it to
stand out a little more. That and I wasn't sure if there was any
standard that required my button to be the orange colors so I did it in
a way that is easily changed back. So get out there and get your
aggregators and you'll have me on syndication!
No word on permits yet, but I'm sure we'll hear soon. I've come to the conclusion that the system Wake county uses to access permits electronically doesn't apply to us, because I've searched *everywhere* with no luck. What tips me off that it isn't working is the fact that NO houses in that neighborhood show up as having permits...and the development is 70% done! If we don't get them this week I'm going to start calling the county daily to light a fire under their asses!
This weekend I am involved in a "Steven Segal cheese-a-thon", I can hear you saying "what the hell is that", I thought so myself, but it's really nothing more then a bunch of buddies getting together to drink beer and watch Segal's cheesy movies while eating pizza and wings. Since I have the biggest TV (55 inches baby!) and the surround sound it was decided that I should host it, but in providing those two amenities I don't have to pitch in for movies, food, or beer! I wonder what kind of drinking games we'll be involved in? Flashes me back to the college days in SV (Sweet Valley for those not in the know), watching South Park and having to drink everytime they beeped a word out! Ahhh, memories!
