Head spinning
Boy oh boy, I know I said I like it when work is busy, but man, today
has been just absolutely crazy... Everything has been going fine,
no major issues all is right with the world, then all of a sudden,
WHAM! I get whacked with so much stuff I don't know which way is
up! I've just now finished digging myself out of the mound of
shit dumped on me. I didn't even get to run today, just as an
example of how busy I was. Here I thought these next few days
would go so slow because of the meetings I'm looking forward to.
None of the issues were that major, you know how it goes
though..everyone thinks that their problem is the most important.
Tomorrow we have an appointment with CPI, I have no idea what that stands for, but they will do the installation of cable, telephone and data. Being the techno-junkie I am we want this part of the house done the way we want it so we'll be using composite cable and the whole house will be wired for a gigabit network with wireless access, dual RG-6's for cable tv and CC-TV (closed circuit) and then phone and security system. It will all come together in a control box which will essentially be the hearbeat of the house! I really don't expect the meeting to take too long.
Tomorrow is also Dean's last day at IBM, and then he'll be going full time working for a company that's whole focus is blowing shit up! That lucky bastard! Oh well...I'm going to finish my last two piddly tasks for the day and get the heck out of here!
