What a great weekend!  We're home now, actually we've been home for roughly 11 hours.  We weren't going to leave until today, but the more we thought about it traffic would probably be a nightmare today.  Anywho, we had an absolute blast in State College.  It was Kristin's first football game ever so Jamie, Joni and myself did our best to make it great for her.  The weather was simply gorgeous; a little hot but better then rain.  So we got there around 11:30ish and started drinking, talking, laughing, joking and reminiscing.  Joni's family stopped by and we had burgers, hotdogs, chips and cookies.  When gametime came we were all excited to enjoy some PSU football.  I was extremely pleased with the performance and outcome of the game, PSU just dominated Akron.  Granted this wasn't OSU or Michigan, but they looked so much better then last year.  My opinion is that the offense is going to astonish everyone, but the defense needs some serious work still.  We only gave up 10 points, but the D wasn't stepping up until Akron was ontop of the red zone.  I think this could be a bowl season...just might have to make another road trip...WebShots has all the pictures you can handle including some kick ass action shots...I love the new camera!

So as for our trip home last night we rented a book on CD from Cracker Barrel and the time just flew by, around 1:30am we were approaching our house and decided to stop by on the off chance that they worked on it Saturday (we stopped there Friday on our way out of town and they hadn't done anything more since they dug the footer).  As we approached the lot we could see that the fence they setup to keep people out was removed and as we got closer we could see that they poured the concrete foundation!  When we stopped by on Friday, our neighbor's house looked like ours does now.  Well in the one day they poured our footer they built their entire foundation!  These guys are quick, so quick that Joni and I decided we'll need to go there at least every other day to keep up with progress!
