So my website won the battle....I'll just get to the other one tomorrow or Wednesday.  I made all the changes I wanted to, as you may or may not be able to tell... and I even went a little further.  You may or may not have noticed a calendar popping up from time to time.  I've been toying with the idea for a while now and have been working on it on and off as time permitted.  Well, one of the site's I visit frequently added one and it pissed me off that I took too long in making one.  So I finished most of it tonight and I'll put the final touches on it today or tomorrow.  I'm basically going to shrink it down a little and wrap the border around it, possibly a forward and back button to adjust the month.  The only thing the calendar does right now is let you click on a date and see what posts were made that day.  Really, that's all I want it to do so don't expect to see any feature improvements there.

After doing all this work I started to wonder just how much code I've written to make this site what it is today.  All told (not including graphics, there are over 1,500 lines of code (and that's just code, remember that all the content is stored in a database so that isn't included.  Now I compare that to the campground site I did in pure (almost) html which has nearly 2,500 and only 1/10th the functionality.  PHP totally kicks ass, the only thing I don't like about it is how it interfaces with LDAP...but that is a whole different ball of worms!
