I finished the campground site today, somewhere in between waking up and watching Penn State squeak out a win, but I'll get to that later.  I started with over 3000 lines of HTML hell and stripped out as much as I possibly could, then I cleaned up what was left.  I'm left with only 915 lines of well documented, well laid out code!  Considering the look and feel hasn't really changed much, but the site now responds nearly twice as fast (although I really have no way to measure that).  I'm now in the process of adding the flare to the site...the little things that no one ever notices.  Things like focusing the cursor in the right field of a form, text uniformity from page to page and the like.  I should be done tonight or tomorrow and I'll set it live thereafter. 

Now on to PSU...the only word that comes to mind is disappointing.  Granted we won, and everyone likes it when we win.  I, however, want to win definitively and today we clearly didn't.  Zack Mills may quite possibly be the best quarterback Penn State has ever seen.  He's broken nearly every PSU record.  Now he appears to have his sights set on the records no one wants to hold, like most interceptions in a single game...or perhaps the most penalty yards in a game...  One positive thing...the D was just awsome!  UCF will be feeling the pain from them for a few days!  Next week will be the true test for my Lions, it'll be the first Big Ten game of the season against a team that is heavily favored to win...Wisconsin.  I'd like to think we're going to win, but if they keep making JV football mistakes then we don't have a snowball's chance in hell.
