Have I ever mentioned?

Have I ever mentioned that I hate T-mobile?  I've had to deal with several of their departments these past two weeks and it think it all came to a head today.  Never have I dealt with a company so back-ass-word as they are.  Part of what my company does involves accessibility from mobile devices, and our application works on all of the major carriers except one (guess which one).  They swear up and down that it is by no fault of their own, but I can prove unequivocally that it is...in fact..I did.  They weren't too fond of me pointing out the errors of their ways, but I'd quite frankly had enough of their shit.  I suppose a bit of background is in order, but I'll be brief.

A customer of ours purchased 50 blackberries from T-mobile (against our salesman's recommendation) and found that he couldn't use them for the purpose he intended.  Wanting to go the extra mile and satisfy the customer, I attempted to hold their engineer's hands to fix the problem but was meet with resistance the entire way.  I eventually told the 4th or 5th level of management where to stick it and I could care less if all 50 phones were returned ($450/phone on a plan that ran another $50/month, big bucks!) then I hung up on him.  I might also have spewed a few things out about how much of my time he's wasted and how it scares me that his company could make money operating the way they do.  About 5 minutes later I got a call back from the same manager who was now ready to play ball.  We still haven't got the problem fixed, but I was promised a free blackberry and a years worth of service so that our company can develop with their product in mind.  I won't hold my breath on that one, but should it come to fruition, they are on crack if they think I'm going to put it in my name (so they can attempt to bill me when the years up).  The conversation was ended with them working feverishly to track the issue down.

So you see my frustration?  On a good note, we did get an email yesterday saying that the builders will be starting the framing either today or tomorrow so we're going to the house tomorrow night to keep an eye on the progress.  Pics to follow!
