One Step Closer
We bought our wedding bands yesterday so that brings
us one step closer to being done with the wedding planning. I
just got a plain old gold band, but Joni fell in lone with this concave
style ring (called a chevron) It looks like this:

The reason we went with this style is
because it hugs titely against her ring and has the cut out for the
emerald-cut engagement ring she has. I liked it instantly and I
think she did too, the first store we tried to buy it at, quoted us one
price and as we were making the purchase the sales woman claimed
"that the price of gold has gone up and therefor our prices have
increased" What a crock of shit!!! I worked in retail for a
great many years and I know that if you mis-price something you are
liable to sell it at that price or face heavy penalties. The only
instance where this is not true is typos, but missed sale tags with no
expiration dates don't qualify as typos. Regardless we went to
another store (with an even better reputation) and got the exact same
ring for the initial price at the first store, and mine was cheaper to
boot! Could it get any better?
