MSN must have memorized my entire site by now...I have over 30 hits from their robot already and it's only been 5 days.  The next closest robot is Inktomi (Yahoo) with 10 and googlebot with 9.  That means they hit my site like 6 times a day?!?!  I'd hate to restrict their access, but if they keep going the way they are I'll have to do something...

I had a thought earlier today, I don't know where it came from, but that isn't the point.  Every so often AOL sends us a CD in a vain attempt to get us to sign up for their over priced service.  Lately they've been using these really nice mailers and I've been keeping them.  How many times have I sent CD's out to someone and had to put it in an overpriced padded envelope and then hoped and preyed that the post office obeyed my "DO NOT BEND" warning.  Well my thought was, wouldn't it be nice if the CD that came from them in the mailer was a CD-RW?  Then I could completely re-use everything they sent me.  That got me to thinking even more about all the useless credit card offers I get, could I cover their return address up and send mail to whomever I want?  After a little research I concluded that 1) AOL doesn't use CD-RW's and 2) That that pesky barcode is what determines the routing of the letter so I'd have to cover that up, but it also holds the billing information so the mailman would probably take the message, but I don't think it would ever get there...so much for saving a few bucks!
