Joni is going to kick my ass for posting this before I tell her (especially since I just got off the phone with her).  She swears that she has to read about my life here because I don't tell her anything...she should really lay off the crack .  Anyway, I just got done talking with my boss, and after a little finagling, if I can wait until January (when the 2005 budget starts), he'll build in roughly $2000 for me to get a laptop!  Which means if I can stay away from ebay for three months and not do anything stupid, I'll get a laptop and not even have to buy it!  There also exists the possibility that I'll be going to Florida since Colin will most likely be a father at that time.  That's not a definite as I think Bill would want to go more then I do as he's from that area and I'd gladly concede to him on that front.  We'll just have to wait and see.

We'll be making another trip out to the house tonight, I can't wait to see what new features have been added!  I don't think I ever put the last set of pictures up, there wasn't a whole lot done, but I snapped a few shots anyway.  I'm in the process of tracking down the electrical start and end date.  If you remember we'll be doing our own telephone and cable wiring, but have such a small window that I want to make sure that we can get in there ASAP!  I probably don't have anything to worry about because the neighbor's house has had the wiring in and inspected for a few days now and still no insulation.  It would be so nice for everything to fall into place and give us a whole weekend to wire it up, but that remains to be seen.
