Is this what we've become?

I found this picture on a friend's IM profile.  At first I started laughing, but then I stared at it for a second and it got me to thinking.  This could sum up what is wrong with America these days.  Hypocrisy, stupidity, misplaced anger, etc, etc.  I don't think I need to explain the picture to anyone, but for those of you who are REALLY dumb, I don't think the sound of a jackhammer is going to have nearly the effect on that unborn child as the cigarette she's smoking will.  I don't want to over analyze thins because in the end I'll just lose a little more faith in the intelligence of mankind.  Bottom line though, is everyone is so worried about what everyone else is doing and "How it violates their rights" or "How can I get paid from this" or whatever, and don't stop to see how THEY are living their lives.  Could you imagine how many frivolous lawsuits would never come to fruition if people stopped to think, hey...maybe it's my fault?  I dunno, but what's going to happen if we get a trial lawyer (who's made *millions* from such lawsuits) in as vice president?  Something to think about!
