A definate mistake!

Well, we found out today that our builder is not quite perfect!  I guess because of the slope of our lot they had to raise the floor of the garage by a foot, which means they now have to raise the top of the garage opening by a foot as well!  It's not that big a deal, but don't tell Joni that...I thought for sure she'd attack me today when I was defending the builder.  It was my position that they were well aware of the issue and would have it taken care of by the end of the week.  she wasn't so convinced...so I gave up arguing my point and let her satisfy her own fear by putting in a "informative" call to the builder to make him...more....aware of the situation.  Turns out I was right and they were working on the problem as Joni was talking to them about it!  So that should be finished by now...and if it isn't it had better be finished by tomorrow morning when we do our pre-drywall inspection at 7:30am!!!  We're really moving right along on this whole project.  At the rate their moving we could be in by early December!  Let's hope the weather holds out!
