Sick and tired!
Ugh...I'm sick! I hate this feeling. My head is completely
stuffed, my throat is killing me, I just feel like crap. I have
to be careful how many halls drops I suck down as I was already warned
a few times by Joni that I shouldn't exceed 2/hour. This started
two days ago, but I hoped it would just pass...but it didn't...it hit
me square in the face (or throat as it were)!
To add insult to injury I'm playing with a new linux distribution. I keep hearing so much about "Debian" and how all the truly great hackers use it. Well I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about...so far I'm less then impressed. The package manager on this was suposed to be so fantastic, but I've gotten nothing but errors every time I try to install a new package. I've made headway, I mean if you know any flavor of linux well then you can (for the most part) move from distro to distro and be competent. I'll give this a week and if I like it, I'll keep it, but I've already paid my linux dues and suffered the heartaches with overcoming the command line. I'd wrather spend my time doing cool stuff with it, then trying to get a new webbrowser installed from source code.
I'm still debating going to the TriLUG meeting tonight. It's on DNS and I'd really like to learn it...ummm..correctly. I administer two DNS servers that work...but how correct they are is anyone's guess. On the other hand...I am sick! So I just don't know. I guess only time will tell.
