Losers
And Penn State takes yet another loss...surprise surprise! I
didn't even stay for the whole game this time..I feel the worst for the
defense...who played their hearts out and kept the score low enough
that we should have taken them. The offense and special teams
were so pathetic it angers me to think that they are getting free
tuition, room and board and probably a living allowance. I'm
pretty sure that the fate of the team is sealed at this point. Up until
now they could have emerged from the funk and salvaged a .500 season,
but I think that's out the window now...oh well.
We took advantage of that time to run up to the house and see what kind of progress was made and to snap a few pictures of said progress. They're posted for your viewing delight. The drywall has since been taped and mudded and probably even had a second coat put on. The driveway has been dug out and framed...but they did it wrong... We didn't pay for them to make the driveway entrance two cars wide. That was an additional $1200 and we just didn't see it being worth the money. Well, look at the pictures and you can plainly see that they framed it for a double width all the way to the curb. No concrete has been poured yet so anything is possible, and I expect them to change it, but I'm not going to say a word until the slab is poured...and even then I may not mention it!
I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween. We had a good time, even though we didn't see any trick or treaters at our house. We went over to Brad and Monique's to see their decorations and hung out with them for a while. I put a few pictures of how overboard Brad went on decorations, check them out..it really did come out good. We also got to hang out with the Harris' for the afternoon which was fun as usual. Ray let me borrow Farenhype 911, which I also watched last night, but having never seen the *other* 9/11 movie, alot of it didn't make sense. I'll watch that one tonight even though I doubt it will make the slightest difference in my stance on this election, it'll probably just piss me off more at that schmuck. I'll save attacking him for another post...it'll definately be a good one.
