WE GOT A CLOSING DATE!!!  We actually already had one date, Dec 17, that was changed to Dec 22, unacceptable!  So we argued with them and told them that was impossible, so now the final date is Dec 16th!  We'll be able to close on the 16th, paint the 17th and 18th, then move on the 19th, which will give us a few days to clean our apartment before we turn the key in!  I'm so excited!! 

We were at the house on Sunday doing the rest of the structured wiring work.  We put ends on all the cables and tested them to ensure that they'd work correctly.  The only thing we couldn't test was cable TV, but we'll have a chance to do that later, when cable is installed... I think we were there for about 3 hours, but my hands feel like I had been splitting rocks for two days straight. From forcing the cat5 cable into the plugs then crimping, I've got sore bones!  I used to be used to all that as I did it so regularly, but I guess my hands have softened up these past few years! 

Our Dell order shipped today so we should have the equiptment by the end of the week...maybe...  That determines my ability to go to Atlanta for Thanksgiving.  If the equiptment comes in soon enough then I can get the systems built in no time flat, but if not...you see where this is going!  Let's just hope they come in soon!
