One down
Well, I have finally finished the administration
console I was working on for one of my web projects. It still
needs cleanup and I'll have to go back through and comment the crap out
of it. Why you ask? Well for two reasons:
So, my weekend was great! We visited Joni's family in Mebane, NC (that's Meh ben) and drank most of saturday away. Although I enjoy the occasional binge drinking episode, so it was cool. Yesterday was a lazy day, we had lunch with some friends from church then went shopping and finally came home and relaxed while making favors for the wedding. Only one thing could make the weekend better...it still being the weekend.
- Chances are, I am going to have to modify this time and time again. Since when is a client ever satisfied? "I love what you did, and I know it meets our specs, but couldn't you just add this?" It's going to happen, and at least this way, I'll know what state my mind was in when I wrote it.
- I am considering giving it back to the open source
community. With some tweaking, it makes one hell of a weblog
interface and is extremely functional. You can add, remove and
alter both authorized users and content; make weblog posts in Rich
Text; and it is setup to interface with an SQL database. I did
get some of the functionality from OSS (Open Source Software) so I
think it only fair that I post it for all to use.
