Well thank the lord that it's over, the week that is.  I'm sure my misery is far from finished.  My servers showed up today..man they are a thing of beauty!  The got here only shortly after the promised 10 o'clock, but for some reason that didn't make my day.  In Dell's infinite wisdom, they neglected to ship my software with the servers.  So I have three servers and no OS for one of them, the remaining two will run Red Hat Enterprise Linux (installing as we speak) which I purchased and downloaded about an hour ago...when is Microsoft going to get a clue?  Needless to say everyone was pissed that the software didn't get here and while they didn't come out and blame me directly...I could tell they were thinking it was my fault...I don't care, I'm still asking for a raise after we release the product...I'm working entirely too hard for too little...well not that small, but certainly not large enough.   Anyway, I spent my entire day on the phone with Micro$oft and Dell, bitching at them both...and of course neither will admit fault.  Aunt Patty, I still have every intention of making it for Thanksgiving, I brought the other two servers home and will work all weekend to have them installed and configured by Monday.  Then hopefully the software will come in and I'll bring the last machine home and install and configure it overnight and get it to the data center by Tuesday morning...maybe..
