I promise I haven't forgot to post...but this week has proven to be perhaps the most hectic week of my life!  I'm going simply mad?!?!  We're pushing forward with the release and things are slowly smoothing out...but we're still not quite there yet.  I feel worse for the developers then I do myself...everytime they think they see the light at the end of the tunnel, one of the sales guys or customer support people submit 10 more bugs (can't help but laugh).  So my systems are slowly morphing into the production beasts they were meant to be..I've had to reconfigure left and right, while documenting everything.  I believe I'm ready to roll, but I'll just wait for them to come to me and say "Oh, we need this to happen because we didn't know that wouldn't work"...anyone who dare claim that Java is 'Write once, run anywhere' is a damned fool. 

So just to catch you all up on our lives...we have our home inspector coming tomorrow to check the place out, then we have our walk-through tomorrow at 1:00.  Joni's going to take care of switching the utilities over later this week and we've made the final arrangements with the bank so our loan is at the underwriters.  We got our credit scores, Joni was jelous that my credit scores were higher then hers this time.  She and I average 760 and 766 respectively... not to shabby for two "twenty-somethings"!  So there isn't much left until we realize the dream of home ownership...

We have tickets for this weekend to see Polar Express in 3-D at the IMAX theater, only aparently we bought enough tickets to see the movie twice...I think they had a software glitch that double billed everyone, but they assured me that it would be rectified by next week.  Alas; I digress, going to the movies assumes that the release goes smoothly this weekend and I don't end up working 48 hours straight...but I think we'll handle it just fine. 

I don't know when I'll have 5 spare minutes to post again..but I'll try to put something up...even if it clearly indicates the rate at which I'm going insane.
