Well...the upgrade is over...we've been busy today fixing bugs and reconfiguring the system to fix the issues the users are pointing out.  All things considered the release went extremely well and the response has been great!  Already we've got a few emails from customers praising the new version and no one has bitched...not to say that they haven't pointed out errors, but they are doing it constructively.  I think everyone wanted to see what was new today because I had a couple hundred connections at 8:00 am which never happened before.  I have to admit that I'm impressed...the $20,000 worth of hardware is barely being taxed...(I haven't seen a processor go higher then 40% and even then it was just for a second). 

Only three more days until we get our house!  It looks like Joni's parents may be coming down on Thursday night instead of Friday night.  I feel better about that because I don't really like the idea of her being home alone all day in a new neighborhood...not that it's a bad place, but I just feel better knowing that someone will be there with her.  We did some more packing last night and it's finally feeling like were moving out...the walls are almost bare, the boxes are piled up and all our clothes are in suitcases now.  If we do just  a little each night we'll be done by Wednesday and ready for everyone to come on Saturday.  I need to call U-haul to arrange a large trailer for Saturday...hopefully I'll remember to do that later in the week...

Oh, we saw the Polar Express this weekend at the IMAX in 3-D.  I was quite impressed with the outcome.  I would have been more impressed if it was live action, CG is a little too easy to make 3-D (considering everything is computerized).  If you have the opportunity it's worth the extra few dollars.  The movie itself was simply ok, so don't go expecting a wonderful christmas tale...but the 3-D makes it worth it.
