Well, we've only been in the house for a few days and we are already off on a trip.  We're leaving in a few hours for PA for the Christmas holiday, but we'll be back Sunday night and we'll finish the whole unpacking process...which we have been incredibly reluctant to do.  Things are so slow at work right now..there's only 7 people here...and I don't think any of us have anything to do really...we're just here because we have to be.  I'm taking off at 2:30, I have one more present to buy for Joni.  She already knows most of what she's getting, but I just hate the thought of her not getting a present that surprises her on Christmas morning.  I have some ideas so I'll make up my mind by the time I get to the mall. 

We're in the market for a vacuum again, our last one all but died when we were cleaning the apartment.  I haven't looked at them in long while, since our last one died, but I can't believe how expensive they are.  I don't want to buy one without knowing what the best one is, mainly for cleaning power.  The one we had lost all it's suction as soon as a little dirt went into the trap.  I like the dyson models, but they are $4-500, just too much for a vacuum.  My mother and my aunt have Kenmoore's and Joni's mom has an Orek, but I don't know which is better.  If I can't find anyone with consumer reports then I'll have to go to a library and see what they recommend.  I really should start subscribing to them again...in fact I think I will. 

Well, half an hour to go...I'm going to clean up and hit the road...Merry Christmas!!!
