Let the grillin' begin!

You might have guessed it from the title, but I'm the proud new owner of not only an fantastic grill cover (Thank you Santa) but also a mammoth new grill!  We bought a Weber Genesis Silver C, certainly not the granddaddy of all grills, but at least the father...or perhaps a cool uncle.  It's got over 600 square inches of cooking surface and puts out over 36,000 BTU's between 3 burners. It also has the side burner so I can warm stuff up or even cook it while the main meal is being kissed by ignited Liquid Propane!  I put it all together last night and it's sitting in our breakfast area...I won't take it outside until we get a chain lock for it.  I'm not about to see that investment walk away, especially after waiting so long for one!

We also got Joni her vacuum, we did the research and found that consumer reports rated this one at number 7...normally I wouldn't buy so far down the list, but 1-3 were self driven and I wasn't gonna spend an extra $100 for that (it's like asking for things to break), and the next couple weren't bag-less.  This had the best of all worlds, in our feeble minds anyway.  The only reason it came in 7th is because of the noise, but I'm not worried about that...it's not like I have neighbors above or below to bitch !  I think that's all the major purchases we need to make so the credit card can breath easy now.  I'm probably going to regret writing that check out to Navy Federal, but in the end I think it's worth it!

I'm currently stuck at the data-center waiting for Windows Server 2003 to install on a machine for me...it's not a terribly painful process, just time consuming.  The screen is teasing me by saying I only have 10 minutes remaining, but we all know that's pure bullshit!  I'll finish installing, copy the live DB backup over and hit the road!  I should be back at the office by noon...maybe earlier if I'm lucky.
