Well, in just a few hours I'll be in sunny Florida for a convention.  It sucks that I have to be up at the ass-crack of dawn, but small price to pay.  I'm sure I sound 10 (in fact it was pointed out to me), but I'm excited to be going on my first business trip.  I have business cards and company shirts and all, almost like a real professional.  Almost. 

I'm sorry I haven' t posted these past few days...work has been an absolute nightmare.  So much last minute stuff combined with the normal gamut of responsibilities that I haven't had a free moment to myself.  I don't think I've made it home before 7 Monday or Tuesday.  It'll all be worth it soon.  I reminded my boss that we haven't done the performance review yet and asked that it be done by the end of this month.  He agreed and I should be getting (hopefully) a decent raise.  If not, you'll hear about it (or there will be a lot of resume related activity). 

Well, it's about time to load the car up and get to the airport.  I'll keep you posted!
