Well, I think our wireless access point is about to take the eternal celestial dirt nap.  Slowly but surely it gets worse and worse.  We used to be able to use it from a decent range, but that range has dropped to about 10 feet...which is where I am right now.  Luckily for us, we did install wired internet in every room so it's just a matter of plugging a cable in, but that's inconvenient.  I'm looking at a dual band access point.  There's one that runs on both 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz.  the 5.0 band is much less populated so, while speed wouldn't really improve, the amount of interference would certainly drop off.  The only thing is...they're so pricey; and I'm cheap.  Maybe I'll start a fund...if every visitor donated $1 then I'd be set...I'm currently pulling down roughly 180 unique hits a month and that grows every month.  I'll have to toy with that idea...this darn internet has to be profitable somehow!
