Dodging the bullet

I love how the weather people cover their own asses these days.  After all the hype of the "Ice storm of the year" that we were expecting on Saturday...we got nothing...it barely even rained let alone iced.  What do the weather people justify themselves by saying?  "We dodged the bullet on this one!"  WTF?!?!  We didn't dodge anything, I didn't feel the state move further south so as to avoid the path of the storm, nor did we enable a defense mechanism to combat the impending storms.  They were just wrong...plain and simple.  It boils my blood to hear them try to turn it around like that.  If I'm wrong I just admit it and move on (Yes it's hard to believe, but I was wrong before...once...about two years ago ), why then can't the weather people of the world just bite the bullet and admit they caused needless panic and move on?  I dunno.  It's Monday and I'm tired...I just want to go back to bed.
