I just got to place the order for a laptop today...and not for just anyone..for me!  It's going to cost me two machines, but that'll be worth it when all's said and done.  It will be a truly sweet machine!  1.8GHz Centrino, with 512MB RAM, Gig-Ethernet, dual band wireless card...and a carrying case!  Now that I think about it..I really should have ordered a second power adapter...oh well.  Joni has one here at home so we'll just pass it back and forth.  It should be here Tuesday...but I'm hoping it gets here sooner.  You'll know when I get it! 

Today was simply crazy at work today..I managed to check off a few things on my todo list, but it seems to have grown twice as fast as I could check it off.  We've got 5, yes 5 new employees starting in the next month.  This means I need to get office space, hardware, telephone service ready..and I have like three days to do it.  Joy!  On one hand I'm glad we're expanding, but on the other hand...I have yet to receive my performance review and raise...not happy about that.  The longer it takes for this to happen, the more likely I am to entertain the phone calls I get every few weeks. 

On a final note, I think it's safe to say that we lost our foodsaver.  Joni's crushed about it, I'm a little upset.  We have no clue where it could have gone either..all we can think is that maybe it got mixed in a box destined for the Goodwill store.  It's really sad...almost like losing a hundred dollar bill.  Now we have all these containers for it...but nothing to suck the air out of them.  I can see I'm going to have to buy another one sooner or later.
