I'm sure you're all dissapointed how inconsistant my posts have been...I'm sorry!  Not having a laptop at home (and a computer room that's still a total disaster) has made it hard to post at night...especially considering how busy Joni is with her project for work.  That will technically come to an end tomorrow, but I'll get my laptop today!!!!  I just finished checking the UPS status on it and they said that at 4:45am it went out for delivery!  I'll probably get it right before lunch and won't want to eat so as to spend more time playing!  The first thing I'll do is resize the primary partition so I can get Linux on there...then I'll need to sit and think about what version of Linux I want.  I'm thinking Fedora Core 3, but I already know that inside and out...  I'm pretty good with SuSE, maybe that...but Mandrake...maybe that's where I'll go!  I really haven't ever used Mandrake Linux but I hear great things about it.  Another one is FreeBSD, but I'm waiting for Covelight to go out of business so I can swipe that server they have in our rack...FreeBSD will go right on that and it'll become our gateway and utility server!  <half an hour later> Nope, their still in business...damn them!  We'll maybe I'll scrounge some parts from work...those 1U's look mighty fine..and would make a great gateway...
