Working Late

I shouldn't be doing it...but I am.  I've been working on catching up for the past two hours.  Since they've piled on so much extra responsibility on me I can barely keep my head afloat during the day so I've been forced to use my time at night to tie up a few loose ends.  I've technically tied them all up for today, i'm just trying to get ahead for tomorrow.  I have my performance review from 2-3 so that right there is going to chew up an hour then I need to find time to do work for our funding corporation (did I mention that here, guess not).

So the company that basically owns my company, or at least is the majority owner, came to me the other day and asked if they could employ my services to migrate them off of Novell and onto either Windows 2003 or a Linux based solution.  I told them that if they could convince my boss' then I'd have no problem with it (other then it being a time strain).  Well to make a long story short, they had no problem with it and now I'm going to be doing that for them while BuildLinks cashes in.  I'll definately be using this information tomorrow come negotiation time.  I'm going to ask for about a 19% pay raise...then when my boss stops laughing at me hopefully I'll get rougly 12%.  Too much less then that means I'm going to have to hit the pavement and find another job.  Them's the breaks.
