Catch 22

02/10/05 @ 2:14 am · By Steve Hoffman · Comments (0) · Leave one
Rick, our builder, told me when we moved in that if I ever needed any materials to just give him a buzz and he'd hook me up.  So I want to take him up on that offer...but I can't call him, why you ask, because no one will give me his number.  It's not really a catch 22, but it's frustrating as all hell.  All I want to do is build a work bench in the garage, is that too much to ask?  I could buy the stuff, which it looks like that's what I'm going to have to do, but I really don't want to.  I'm cheap!  The work bench will be a thing of beauty.  8ft long and 2ft wide for the top shelf, then the bottom shelf will be 5ft long and just under 2ft wide.  That 3 foot difference is for the rolling tool chest I'll get some day.  That should get me started.  I need some place to store my tools and a place to work...I don't want to make a mess in the house but I really need to do something with my hands.  I know Joni has a few projects lined up for this weekend, I'm looking forward to them all!
