Camera Software
I just felt compelled to post this since I've been such an opponent of
the topic of this post. Digital Camera Software that comes with
the camera. We've had two such cameras, but used several.
It's been my experience that the software that comes with such toys is
useless at best. They pack all these unnecessary features into
their bundle that you must install and I don't like a bloated
computer. As a result, I've always recommended against using
their warez as it was typically a "dumbed" down way to do something
that took little effort anyway. Well, and you knew this was
coming, I can honestly admit that I'm a changed man! We installed
the Kodak software that came with our camera and it added a whole new
dimension to picture taking. It reminds me of the Staples "Easy
Button". I hightlight a picture, click enhance and viola the
picture is almost always perfect. Now there are some instances
that it doesn't work, but those are few and far between. We took
many pictures in DC and most were indoors, but they came out so dark
that we couldn't use some of them...or so we thought. I now have
a halfway decent picture of the Constitution! Now that I've
shared that everyone run downstairs and dig up that CD that came with
your camera and install it!
