Well, we had our benifits meeting today...I have to admit it was probably one of the more depressing meetings I've evern been to.  I say that until the next benifits meeting of course!  I know more then half the company was less then thrilled about it as well.  We had several long discussions about why they are so expensive and how we keep getting more and more screwed.  The only saving grace is that Joni's company has excellent benifits or I'd be equally as pissed as everyone else.  I'm going to miss some things thoug...I no longer have access to short and long term disability and I'm waiting to hear if they'll cover me for more then $15,000 for life insurance.  Since I'm planning on getting another bike very soon I want to make sure that if anything should ever happen to me, Joni is well taken care of. 

We'll be getting our tax return tomorrow and that means two things...we will be getting the kitchen table that my wife longs for...and we will finally pay off her credit card which will make us credit card debt free!  Once that's gone the only bills we'll have are the mortgage, utilities, car payment and student loans.  We'll then put the money we were putting towards her credit card towards the car.  The student loan payments are low as are the interest rates so I'm not worried about them, but the car payment dissapearing would free up a few more hundred dollars a month.  Naturally we'll find something else to spend that money on, but that's the fun of it isn't it?
