Farewell Greg

Well, Greg put his two weeks in today, so that means we have no "lead developer" which sucks, but he's moveing to a better place...well, not moving but going to a better place.  I think the company he's going to work for has a hard-on for BuildLinks employees.  They're the ones who have contacted me twice about jobs.  It would probably be a fine place to work, but I just worry about what happens when the cellphone craze dies down...hopefully I'm wrong (which I probably am) and Greg has a long lasting career there.

I got manager approval to leave town this weekend...even after a server crashed this past weekend.  That was exciting...the one time I leave the cellphone downstairs hosted solutions calls me at 4:30am...only when they can't get ahold of me, they call Andre...and thank god he answered!  Next in line would be Colin and I certainly didn't want him getting a call at 5am because I fucked up...

I've also started working on my deswearing module (that last f-bomb reminded me).  My aunt pointed out (and little Pete proved it) that my cousin is now of reading age and likes to check my website out...so Peter...no swearing!  I'll write something to replace swears with either crazy characters or just omits a few letters.  I know things like that already exist, but that's ghetto...if I can write it myself then damnit, I will!  You hear that Bill...serindipity can kiss my white ass, real men write their own code!
