I'm back from our thunder run from hell!  13 hours of driving for 8 hours of skiing...crazy; I think not!  I had a blast, I made it from 9 until about 2:30 before I ran out of steam and sleepiness set in, quickly followed by cramps, my final run I made it to the bottom with no problem, but when I got back to the top and went to buckle in I almost couldn't get back up because of a cramp in my side.  That's when I called it quits.  After some tweaking I fell in love with my board, I'm not absolutely crazy about the bindings, but maybe if Joni gets into the sport I'll give them to her and get a new set.  I'm still sore today, which I knew I would be, but not as much as I was this time last week.  Perhaps my body is getting used to the abuse I'll be feeding it?  I'm going to the gym tonight so we'll see how that goes...I'd be happy if I could make a mile on the treadmill tonight, actually, the weather is turning so perhaps I'll go and run outside.  I think the weather is supposed to be in the high 50's, ok, just checked the weather and it'll be 66 as the high.  Going outside, but still only shooting for a mile!

We are all ready to tile the kitchen and breakfast area floor.  We know what tile we like and have figured out the square footage.  We'll start demolition tonight, which will consist of taking up the round moulding and getting everything off the floor.  We'll probably take two or so days to prep then Thursday night and Friday all day we'll start laying down the hardi-backer and when dad gets here sometime Friday night we can start the tiling.  We'll document the whole process so all can see it.
