I have got to stop working so late...my eyes actually burn to be open right now...

I got a few estimates for the damage to our car...looks like roughly $700 to repair the car and another $250 for a rental car.  I spoke with the guy yesterday and he said to fax him the quotes and get the work done, he'll send me a check for the total.  I feel kinda bad for him, I don't know if he expected that number to be quite so high, but what can I do?  I'm not asking for anything outrageous.  I just want the car fixed...and a little sleep would be nice too!
