Do you realize that in the last15 days I've run almost 30 miles?  Excluding the raquetball I used to play at PSU, I think you could add up all the running I've ever done in my life and it not equal 30 miles.  I know 30 miles isn't much to brag about, Kyle did something to the tune of ~20 miles in an afternoon...much more impressive.  I'm just sort of amazed at how much better I'm getting at this running thing.  I used to jog then walk then jog some more then walk for two miles when I started three weeks ago.  Now I can jog for a mile striaght and could probably even go further, but I don't want to push too hard. 
    My meeting last night went well, I was a bit worried that it would be an utter waste of my time, but Ashleigh (sp?) seems to know what she is doing and is sensitive to the balance between her being the graphical person and me being the content person.  I was just afraid she would come in on some sort of power trip, but that was not at all the case.  I think I have a better understanding of where the self appointed church representitive is coming from, he is a writer which explains his critique of my writing abilities.  In fact he was a reporter for some wrather large newspapers for quite a while.  I suppose I look at him in a different light now that I know he isn't some techno-elitist, but someone who has spent his life writing to people...but that still doesn't make him an editor or a layout person. 
    It sounds like Joni and I will be getting dirty again this weekend.  We thought she had a lifetime warrenty on the breaks on her car, but it turns out she did not so I'll have to pull the front wheels again and change the breaks.  No biggie, just dirty.  All told though (even with the new breaks) we'll have saved over $330 by doing the job ourselves.  So the next time you are at the car shop getting work done to your car and you mock the filthy mechanic who's working on your car, just remember inside he'll be laughing all the way to the bank!
