Welll, we're back from Daytona and we did have a good time, albeit a very short one!  The trip wouldn't have been possible if we didn't fly down!  So now Debbie is a college graduate and getting a taste of the real world, sucks doesn't it Deb?  So on our way back, as I mentioned previously, we wanted to extend our layover in Atlanta for a few hours to visit with Aunt Patty and Uncle Marty.  I didn't think it would be an issue, but Delta thought otherwise.  They wanted to charge us $100 to take the later flight, there was NO fare difference, just a fee to reschedule!  Naturally I said no thank you, but I appreciated his trying.  This happened at the check-in counter.  When we got to the gate I went to find out from the Gate Agent if I could take an earlier flight since my attempt to stay later had been thwarted.  It was the SAME guy I just talked to minutes before at the front desk.  I asked him about taking an earlier flight and just like that I was booked...NO CHARGE?!?!  WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THAT PICTURE?!?!?  At any rate it did feel good to go home and get some sleep (four mour hours to be exact) plus we got alot of yard work done including week whacking (which our yard desperately needed!), this of course means we now own a week whacker.  I didn't mind too much since we appear to be way under budget on the credit card this month.  Of course since we tend to travel like EVERY weekend in the summer, we'll need the extra money in the bank.
