Well I took a ride to the bike shop tonight and was a little dissapointed after I talked to the salesman.  It seems they want $200 more then the other bike shop in Durham, and I'm sure the Durham bike comes with armor plating.  I wonder how much the bike is in PA, if I can get it cheaper there then it'd be worth a trip up.  And in a worse case scenario I can get that one in IL for $1000 less then anything I've seen here...even after the $500 in shipping I'm doing pretty damn good not to mention I won't have to pay sales tax; although I'm sure NC will soak me in the end.  The other downside is that they don't have the color I want...which sounds picky, but it is my money after all.  So Thomi-lyn, the next time your hubby drags you to the bike shop for quad parts, how about taking a look and see what they want for an '05 GSX-R 750 in black (not the anniversary edition).
