Ok...Today I *should* get my car back from Capitol City Auto Body after what has turned out to be a NIGHTMARE!  I called them on Wednesday after speaking with the guy at the place we had to buy pinstripes from (the one the body shop pointed us to...remember this tidbit).  I offered to pick them up that night but was told that they already made arrangements to pick the pinstripes up on Friday and would install them on Monday.  Perfect!  So I made arrangements to work from home yesterday since we didn't have two cars and Joni no longer works across the street.  We dropped the car of Sunday night, after hauling ass (and my dad's boat) back from SC.  Around 1 o'clock yesterday I got an incredibly disturbing call from...you guessed it Capital City Auto Body (I misspelled it on purpose so that Google will index it both ways and more people will find out just how shitty they are).  So I found out in that call that the customer they were going to give a ride home to, came in with his daughter so the schmuck who was supposed to go pick up my pinstripes...never did... When the car was there Monday morning I guess they realized they screwed up because they had no pinstripes and found out the hard way that Car Cosmetology was closed on Mondays.  Now from hearing this story you'd think that this was blatantly their fault...and I let them know that.  The woman on the phone had a different opinion all together.  She actually started yelling at ME because I told them I'd have a hard time EVER recommending them to anyone.  I had to back off on ripping them a new ass...since I still need my car.  Well after she calmed down a little I asked her when the car would be finished.  I was told around noon today...I didn't believe her, but whatever.  So around 11:00 this morning I called them, because I'm working from home again...and really would rather be at the office...less temptation.  Now she's saying "Hopefully it will be done by 5".  Bottom line...Capitol City Auto Body on Capitol Blvd in Wake Forest...DO NOT GO THERE...spend the extra money to have it done right at Mini-city Auto Body.
