If you live in the Triangle...have Road Runner broadband....follow this link!!!!  It seems that Road Runner has turned up the juice on internet access and man does it look good from my point of view!  I was getting speeds of almost 400KB/s, which loosly translates to about 3Mb/s.  That's better then most of the country sees, but wait...they've now upped it to 5Mb/s, which means when I get home and follow their instructions I should be seeing speeds of 625KB/s!!  I can download 500MB in 13 minutes at that rate!  The only downside is few sites offer those kinds of speed, but I can be pulling from several at once and not see the speed drop!!!!

I think we're gonna end up with two shiney new Jet Ski's tonight also.  Joni is going to go up to Henderson NC to see about a few models there and I gave her a price that if they came in under that then she can sign the papers tonight.  I'm still waiting to hear back from my uncle about which is better, two or four stroke, but I talked to Bill, a wrench turner from way back, and he said that the two stroke is probably better all things considered as we'll get more on demand power.  We'll just wait and see.  I guess it's probably better that she go then I, because I'm such a chicken shit when it comes to making big purchases.  I like money in the bank...lots of it!!  Doing things that retract from said money in said bank scares me.
