AWSOME!

Ok, any hesitancy I had about buying Jet Skis is gone...right out the window.  We finally got to take them out yesterday and we had so much fun.  We were out for nearly 4 hours, and I'm not the least bit sore (I can't say the same for Joni).  We got to explore a new section of falls lake also and found two more launches that are no where near as crowded as the one on Six Forks.  I will say one thing...that lake is friggin huge!!!  We did manage to get lost a time or two so on our next trip out there I'm going to bring a nautical map of the lake and put it in the glove box.  Other then that it was great.  I was a little nervous about launching the skis, but there was hardly any traffic so it made it a thousand times easier and even when we loaded up we had no real problems...except Joni turning sideways in the lane and bumping the pier (she's going to kill me for putting that here).

Saturday we couldn't go out because we had prior plans with friends to go boating on Lake Wheeler which doesn't allow PWC (that's personal water craft), but we had a blast just the same.  Good food, and good fun, the way it should be.  And as a result of that trip we found a boat store that was 15 miles closer then boaters world and the guys were a lot more helpful, West Marine, shop them if you can!  Dad will be happy to see his new wheel hubs and the other accessories we picked up for his boat.  I'm going to try to get in touch with my parents to see if one of them will meet me halfway this weekend some time and pick up the boat.  Then, the following weekend we'll be going to Charleston for a church picnic (my old church) and can bring our toys with us!
