What's been going on

So with that last post out there...I'll clue everyone in on how things have been with us.  First and foremost I will have been married for 1 year in just 3 short days!  Hard to believe isn't it?  I've made reservations at one of the fanciest restaurants in Raleigh, Sullivans Steakhouse, for Saturday night and am looking forward to that.  Joni's anniversary present is all ready to go (except the part that's back ordered, but that won't spoil anything).

We love our new toys, so much in fact, that we'll be going out on them tonight.  We can get a good hour or so in before it gets too dark to ride them so we'll get out there and cut the water up a little.  I'll be returning my dad's boat on Saturday so that next weekend when we go to SC for the weekend we can bring our Jet Skis with us and try out some new waters.  I'm trying to keep myself from buying any more accessories for them right now.  I was worried that with all the spending we've done these past few days, we'd be broke...but we're not...still got enough to bank what we want and a little left over for us...I just don't want to spend it for the sake of spending it.

Speaking of money, I'm all signed up for my 401K plan, I've determined what risk level I want to be at, and how much money I want to contribute.  The only problem is that I don't know what funds to put the money in so that I meed my "Agressive growth" plan.  We're having a meeting on Tuesday with the CFO who will walk everyone through what each investment means and hopefully then I'll know better where to put the money.  We'll see...  I'm also going to bring up the fact that there's no company matching, but I think they should at least match in terms of company stock since they can't/won't match the 401K contributions.  They made such a big deal about a 401K and everyone was excited about it, then we find out that there not kicking any in like just about every other company does.  The lustre wore off quickly here.

I guess that's it...Scott, I updated the copyright date at the bottom...It's going to take another 6 months before you can see it..but now it just puts 2003 - the date of the current year at the bottom of the webpage.  So I'll never have to make that change again...it's even Y10K compliant!  Of course I'll be long gone in eight thousand years...
