Episode III

I finally saw the much touted Episode III this weekend and I'm glad that I've completed the ring.  This answered all the questions that I had, even though I already knew the answers to them.  I think what I liked most about it was that I didn't have to imagine the missing parts...they were laid out for me.  I will comment on two things that I wasn't crazy about. One, the one that everyone has been talking about...it was a crappy love story, but we all knew that already.  And Two, Skywalkers transition from good to evil was simply unfulfilling.  I just didn't feel it...maybe it's me, but his turmoil with chosing the force and the dark side of the force was dissapointing.  Otherwise, good flck!

Our anniversary went great!  I got my Penn State Fossil watch, which looks absolutely great on me!  And I think it's fair to say that Joni LOVED her scrapbook and supplies!  For those who didn't know, the theme of a first anniversary is "paper" so I thought along those lines about Joni, the things she likes and paper.  I came up with the idea of making a scrapbook of the past year of our life together.  From the day we were married until now.  It was quite touching actually!  Every set of pages encompassed one month and I did all the work myself, but I did have the guidance of Linda Hahn, of Croppin' Oasis to help me choose colors and techniques.  I'm sure Joni will be touting the book everywhere we go, It really did turn out great!  I also got her that drafting table she's been wanting for so long but it was back ordered so she'll have to continue to wait.
