I'm a good websurfer...I don't go to sites that I have no business reading, I don't pirate music or software, I'm not one for reading the latest gossip.  I do enjoy reading a select few blogs and the occasional computer related article on slashdot or some other such site.  I wish all the employees at my company were like me...but they're not.  Two of them were severly infected, no infested, with spyware on their machines.  I mean to the point where they couldn't hover over internet explorer without an ad for a relationship or eBay or Home Depot popping up.  I spent the better part of three hours trying to fight the one computer back into line, but it was to the point that as fast as I could disable these programs, they'd rename themself to something else and fire off again.  Once I hit the three hour mark of troubleshooting, I decided that it was more cost effective to simply format and re-install the machines.  I'm finishing up on the second one now, but I have to admit that it's a royal PAIN IN THE ASS to have to deal with that crap.  When we get to the point of profitability, I'm going to make the suggestion that we start unifying our systems.  i.e. everyone will have an identical machine...then I can build one..and clone it to the rest of them.  But more importantly I can take that one image and save it away and the next time someone's machine goes ape shit, I can just re-image and walk away...that would be nice...*sigh*

We're off to SC tonight for another camping excursion, this time we're taking our toys with us.  I'm looking forward to getting the jet skis out on the water again, since the last time we went out we got drenched.  I don't think I mentioned that here, Joni and I went out Wednesday night and got to the furthest point on the lake from where we launched and noticed a lot of thunder and lightning getting closer to us.  So we started back to the launch and wouldn't you know we ended up smack dab in the middle of rough water and pelting rain.  At least Joni had her sun glasses so she could see; I had to close one eye and cover the with my hand so as not to go blind from the pouring rain.  Almost as soon as we made it back to the ramps, the rain had passed and the sun was coming out.  We just left though as we didn't want to tempt fate.  So anyway, we're leaving tonight after work and should be back Sunday evening some time.  Keep your fingers crossed for better weather then the last camping trip.
