Monday...

Well today started with a bang...I woke up late (still earlier then most of you, but later then I was supposed to) and found that the program I got my ass chewed for last week still didn't work...and I WAS covering for the schmuck who's fault it was (Andre).  Now that I know that there's no problem with my program I'm passing the buck to him to fix.  I'll wake up Wednesday morning at 4:00 am and sit up until 5 waiting to see if the program works, but no more after that. I've intentionally put check after check in there to ensure that I'm doing precisely what I said I'm doing...and I am!  Not to mention I had to finish rebuilding a computer that was inundated with spy ware and other such malicious software as well as answer random questions.  Just your typical SysAdmin Monday morning...

We had a good time this weekend, aside from the fact that it rained ALL day Saturday.  We'd manage to get the boat and Jet Skis out on the water for 5 minutes and the sky's would open back up on us.  Sunday was a different story, the weather was simply beautiful and there were still plenty of waves to jump on the lake so I had fun.  Dad and Uncle Jack got to experience the thrill of Jet Skis as did my youngest brother Mike.  Robbie was supposed to but couldn't because of a headache.  I think he was just mad at me for not bringing my remote control car (like I said I would).  He called to remind me an hour before I left to bring it and I assured him I would.  Then halfway down the highway, Joni reminded me that I forgot it...  I'll be sure to bring it when we go again next month.

Oh, by the way, I got my vacation approved (finally) so I'll be spending an extra week in PA which will give me time to relax and visit with family, all the while burning up one of my three weeks of vacation.  I've decided that I'll use another week to spend with my folks down in SC, but I'll wait until later for that, probably around September/October.  Then the final week will be the week before Christmas so we can attend Scott's graduation.
