Streak of bad luck

So I bet you're wondering why you haven't been able to get to my site lately...just a streak of bad luck.  Turns out I let my DNS hosting expire...CRAP!  It didn't occur to me since NC is known for bad storms in the summer time.  I just figured the power was out for more then 45 minutes (the limit on our battery backup) and when the system shuts down I have it set to stay off, just in case the power continues to flicker.  I'd wrather you weren't able to get to my site for a day then have my server die.  So late last night Joni and I got everything straightened out and back online.  Well today we did have bad storms, but the power only flickered of course that's enough to shut the server down...especially when I have it plugged into the surge port...instead of the battery backup port, DOH!  So I was down for two days...I should really move the site to the servers at work, but I enjoy hosting it here....

So anyway, we're back online now...I guess I should say I'm back online now..since my darling wife never posts anything...all that work making the site multi user.  Sheesh!

Tomorrow we're going camping for the weekend.  It was kind of a blessing to be able to leave town again.  Typically when there's a major release coming up none of the development team is allowed to leave town.  I guess Colin know's he's been working us all ragged these past few weeks because 1/2 of the dev team is off.  Bill, Andre and myself, although I'm working a half day.  We bought some accessories for the Jet skis this past week including a knee board that I'm dying to try!  I'm sure we'll have a ton of pictures that will take us weeks to post on webshots....
