Crappy furniture

Well, the couch has just about had it...instead of sitting up at about a 95 degree angle, it's more like 140+...it's like our couch is a recliner.  So we broke down or I guess I broke down, and bought new furniture.  We went to La-Z-Boy and bought almost $3000 worth of couch and recliners.  Way more then I wanted to spend, but I certainly don't want to be buying new stuff every two to three years.  We paid a few bucks extra to get the 5 year fabric warranty which is in addition to the lifetime structure, mechanics and cushion warranty.  Now we just have to wait 6 weeks for it to get here.  Hopefully the back doesn't fall off before then...and if it does..oh well!  This means we have 6 weeks to pay off the lowes card.  We don't owe much on it, but I'm a cheap bastard and I especially hate taking money out of savings...sometimes I feel like my brother Michael...maybe he gets it from me?  If that's true, he definately takes it to a new level!

Once again, I'm really dissapointed in the programming on MTV...the remote is across the room right now, I'm sitting on the broken couch (afraid to get up) so I've been forced to watch a show called "Trailer Fabulous" about a bunch of NON heterosexuals redoing a trailer...it's like "Pimp my Ride", I was going to say only more ghetto...but really they're about the same level of ghetto... and the show that is going to do it in for me is called "Wild'n Out"...I don't know what the hell it's all about but I assure you it's more painful then entertaining.  So with that, I think I'm going to bed...especially since I have to drag my ass to work at 6am tomorrow...It's a good thing I get paid the big bu...oh wait..I don't....

Enjoy your new furniture! I have a green La-Z-Boy recliner that has provided years of good service. 18+ years to be exact!!! It is still comfortable and works well. I almost wish it would fall apart so I'd feel justified in spending $ to replace it.
