After pulling an all nighter for work I'm rewarded with a hellish four hours at the office (on only 1 hour of sleep) only to get home and be tired as all hell...but not be able to sleep.  I've tried too...I just toss and turn and get nowhere.  So I've given up on napping for now...I'll deal with it tonight.  We had a doosie of a night too, only I can't tell you about it until the dust settles.

Now that the hurricane is out of the Wilmington area we're moving ahead with our plans to hit the shore for the weekend.  Joni's cousin Michelle and the kids will be coming out with us.  I'm psyched, I have a good time at the beach with Jimmy and Ashley..I could live without Michelle though!  Just kiddin' Michelle, you know I love you even though you're a nagging pain in the ass.

Congrats to Dean by the way, he's back at his old job making the kind of money he deserves!  I can only hope that when I become an IT manager (and I will, mark my words) I'm as successful.  I'm down to 2 years.  That's the goal I set for myself..to be the IT manager of a company by 2007, 5 years after I graduated..so technically the end of 2007.  I guess in a sense I am the manager of IT at my current company, but I don't manage anyone which is where I need to be.  I know one of the things I'm going to have to do is start dressing the part, and I'm not looking forward to that.  I'll keep fighting the man, perhaps in two years we'll have .com² and I won't have to dress up.  I won't hold my breath for that day though.

Thanks, Steve....

It is still kinda like a dream to me... I'll wake up after the first paycheck.

After you see how fast you burn through it, you'll wish you could fall back asleep! Congrats man!
