It's here...almost
Our couch and recliners are almost here! I got the call from the
delivery guy tonight and he thinks he'll have me back to work by
noon! We straightened up the house a little and completely
cleaned the loft of all Joni's scrap-booking crap so we can move the
love seat upstairs (the one piece that's still kickin) and make room
for the couch. I'm not exactly sure how we'll arrange everything
just yet, but I'm sure it will look fine when it's all in place.
I also managed to do the dishes, fold laundry and a few other random
tasks, I'm like little Susie (or Sally if you ask Brett)
homemaker. Quite impressed with myself actually.
We had to take a quiz at work today on our application. I bombed it! And I don't mean I missed a question or two...I missed like 50 of them. The one saving grace is that I'm not expected to know the application and it was more or less a "for the hell of it" type test. All things considered I know more about the app then I was expected to know and really wasn't too far off from the developers (roughly 15 or so questions behind the best score). I don't know which is worse, that I scored the worst on it or that the people who wrote the app weren't that much better then me. At any rate it's an eye opener, but I doubt it means much for me.
I'm also the proud owner of Penn State V Wisconsin (is that really how you spell Wisconsin?) tickets. So November 4th we'll be making the trek to PA to enjoy the Lions kicking some ass. We'll be tailgating Jamie, so if you're interested in some food and fun, try to get the day off! Joni's parents will be there too as will her brother and sister. I'm pretty sure we'll be doing more then our share of drinking!
